WHAT WILL YOU DO?


DEVOPS TASKS
  • Establish and maintain CI/CD Pipeline to ensure continuous delivery of software;
  • Manage and monitor environtments ensuring their stability and performance;
  • Install and configure infrastructure such as Linux OS, AWS/GCP Services, Hadoop distribution, and NGDATA's IEP product;
  • Support third-party software integration, ensuring compatibility and functionality;
  • Oversee infrastructure and resource optimization to ensure it meets the team's needs;
  • Support release activities, understanding the impact of branching and code merges, facilitating the execution and publication of releases and serving as a point of contact regarding the status;
  • Resolving issues relating to infrastructure and environtment, supporting QA and development teams in troubleshooting.
QA AUTOMATION TASKS
  • Creating automated tests, developing and maintaining test cases;
  • Executing automated test suites at every release to validate functionality and reliability;
  • Logging and analyzing results of automated tests post-execution;
  • Resolve failures occuring due to issues in the automated code by collaborating with the development team;
  • Communicate test results with the automation team, highlighting areas of concern and potential improvements;
  • JIRA integration: upload test results in X-ray (JIRA) for tracking and reporting;
  • Updating scripts when test cases are impacted or fail due to valid changes in software;
  • Participating in agile stand-up meetings and conveying status updates to the team, as well as participating in team-wide knowledge transfer sessions;
  • Collaborating with Functional Test Engineers, exchanging insights and information about functionalities and ensuring alignment between manual and automated testing.

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

HARD SKILLS
  • You are fluent in English, both written and spoken, and have good communication skills.
  • You possess a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and min. 5 years of experience in DevOps practices, as well as min. 2 years in Test Automation.
  • Great expertise in Terraform.
  • Familiarity with Kubernetes
  • In-depth knowledge of cloud environments.
  • Strong infrastructure knowledge, able to maintain complex infrastructure components effectively.
  • Proficient in using Robot Framework for testing.
  • Good with Python scripting. 
  • Our platform is deployed on Linux, as such you need to be fluent on the command line and with shell scripting.
  • Knowledge of Hadoop , API and SSH, as well as familiarity with web technologies such as XML, JavaScript, JSON, and Rest API creation.
